New York City Football Club (NYCFC) today announced that Midfielder Jacob Arroyave has signed a contract with the Clubâs MLS NEXT Pro team, NYCFC II. Arroyave will be available for selection for NYCFC IIâs match on Sunday, July 30 against Huntsville City FC.
The Passaic, New Jersey native began his youth career with Cedar Stars Bergen, quickly impressing and solidifying his status as an exciting prospect.
Sporting Director David Lee said: âWe have been following Jacob for a number of years now throughout his youth career, and we believe NYCFC II and MLS NEXT Pro is the perfect place for him to continue his development. He is a talented player, and weâre excited that he has decided to join NYCFC II as the first step of his professional career.â
