New York City FC has teamed up with beloved childrenâs television show Sesame Street for the August edition of the âLove to Learnâ campaign. David Villa visited Cookie Monster and Rosita to film a segment demonstrating the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork.
The video, which debuted today, Monday, August 8 at 10:00AM EDT is part of Sesame Streetâs six-month campaign featuring various celebrities and YouTube personalities to teach kids important life lessons. All videos are available on Sesame Streetâs YouTube Channel.
Villa joins an impressive list of athletes who have appeared on the long-time favorite show including fellow soccer legend David Beckham and New York sports stars Amarâe Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony, amongst others.
