New York City FC today announced a new multi-year partnership with Julia Gin, making the brand the Official Gin Partner of the Club.
A modern botanical premium gin made in New York, Julia Gin is shaped by global migration and African diaspora culture. Julia Gin features seven botanicals sourced across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Americas.
As part of the partnership, Julia Gin will have a dedicated space in the southeast corner of Etihad Park, offering a variety of refreshments. The destination will become part of the matchday experience at Etihad Park, New York City’s first soccer-specific stadium, when New York City FC begins play at its new home in 2027. The fully electric, 25,000-seat venue will be located in Willets Point, Queens as part of a larger 23-acre neighborhood development featuring affordable housing, a public school, a hotel, and public open space.
The partnership will extend beyond the branded space, incorporating Julia Gin across New York City FC’s digital content and fan engagement platforms, as well as at select Club events and fan experiences. The brand will also have an expanded presence throughout Etihad Park through in-stadium LED, scoreboard, and digital signage.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Julia Gin as the Official Gin Partner of New York City FC,” said Ara Sarajian, Vice President of Stadium Partnership Development at New York City FC. “As we bring Etihad Park to life, it is important for us to align with locally based brands that celebrate our city. With its New York roots and global outlook, Julia Gin is a natural fit for our Club and our fans. We look forward to making Julia Gin part of the Etihad Park experience and giving fans new ways to enjoy matchday.”
“Julia is a New York gin shaped by a world of influences,” said Kofi Gyekye, Julia Gin Co-Founder. “I named it after my grandmother, who taught me that hospitality is about how you make people feel. We built Julia here around that belief, drawing on the cultures, flavors and hospitality of the African diaspora. New York brings the world together every day, and football has that same power. Becoming the Official Gin Partner of New York City FC — and making a home at Etihad Park — feels deeply natural for us. Julia was made for tables where the world gathers. In New York, the whole world is already here. We can’t wait to welcome everyone in.”
Etihad Park will be New York City’s first soccer-specific stadium and the country’s first fully electric outdoor sports stadium. Privately funded and constructed entirely by union labor, the venue will anchor the Willets Point redevelopment, which includes 2,500 new affordable housing units, a 650-seat public school, a new hotel, and more than 150,000 square feet of public open space.
